About Tim Hall

With over 30 years of expert care and craftmanship, Tim is a trusted Master Restorer who will guarantee satisfaction as he conserves the beauty of your original artwork and frames. Whatever the artwork's value, Tim treats each piece as if it were his own.

Tim was born in Carbondale, Illinois in 1947 and studied at Southern Illinois University in Business Management. Tim also served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam from 1966 to 1970.
In the Restoration field, Tim's professional accomplisments include:
  • Studied under Master Framer Kemp Barton of Lee Kemps, Inc. in Goldsboro, NC.
  • Studied with Master Restorer Saul Babbin of Master Restorers International from 1981 to 1990.
  • Owner of The Frame Store of Wethersfield in Wethersfield, CT from 1974 to 1981.
  • Instructor in drawing and painting for Ashton Art Institute, Wethersfield, CT from 1978 to 1995.
  • Listed Artist in American Artist of Renown in 1976.
  • Connecticut Congressional Citation for Artist and Framer Par Excellance in 1992.
  • Member of the Society of Gilders.
  • Published many articles on Technique and Design in various industry trade publications.
