"I've known Tim Hall for at least 35 years as a professional framer, artist, restorer, and close friend. In a previous occupation for a Fortune 50 company I relied on Tim's expertise and skills to purchase, frame and restore art. One project was an 8 by 20 foot linoleum carving of an eagle that was presented to my company back in the 1930's. Tim's diligence on this piece made it a treasured piece of Art Deco craftsmanship which is currently housed in the company's museum.

As an artist, I have sought Tim's counsel in framing my own art and preserving my family's heirlooms for my children to enjoy. Tim's personal involvement with each customer and each pieces is unmatched anywhere! His work has been applauded by artists, celebrities, politicians, civic leaders, and corporate giants throughout the United States. If I had one piece that needed the best restoration possible there would be no other person than Tim Hall to do the job. Bravo maestro!!!"

"Tim Hall has been doing restorations, custom designs and framing for me for the past 30 years. During that time, he has restored several Tin Types for me. With Tim's broad network of artists and artisans, Tim has designed a Mantle Mirror for me as well as extending a pair of Antique Valences by several feet each, and then gold leafing both projects.

He has designed and framed over 100 pieces of artwork for me, from antique family prints, John Stobart Nautical Limited Edition Prints, Currier and Ives Posters, Sandy Scott pencil drawings, Original Oil Paintings, to Thomas McKnight Silk-screen prints. They enhance the beauty of my home and garner compliments from all my friends and neighbors.

I originally met Tim, while I was living in Connecticut, but have traveled back from Dallas, Texas, Pennsylvania, and Maryland to take advantage of his good taste, and superior design skills.

I have introduced Tim to several of my friends, who would not think of using anyone else now that they have met Tim.

Someone once told him that the best framer in the country was in Denver, Colorado. Tim asked them to get his name, so that he could network with him and improve his skills. The next time the person came into see Tim, he told him who his friend was in Denver, and told him that the friend had previously lived in Connecticut and told him that Tim Hall had created all the frames that he was admiring.

I personally have never seen frame designs that compare with those that Tim has created for me. I have seen him work with a variety of customers from young adults to older customers, creating designs that are a reflection of their taste and bring out the best in their artwork.

I have always been pleased with the quality of the designs and their execution. Tim is a consummate professional."

"I met Tim over 17 years ago in Hartford. I have had all my personal and business artworks restored, varnished; and some framed by Tim. Many of the artworks required major cleaning and repair. In every case, the works were returned in superb condition, and in many cases with extra work done to improve the overall quality of the work. Tim has also restored a number of my antique frames with superb gold leaf, gilding craftsmanship. He is a true professional.

I have a large collection of Marine Art and many are very old, and some are also very valuable. Tim has worked on a majority of the pieces, and treated each piece as if it were his own. He did a fabulous job cleaning and varnishing my original Oil on canvas painting by John Stobart. I have work in a marketing capacity with Galleries in CT, and he has done some beautiful restoration work on their pieces. I trust his knowledge and recommendations. His estimates are always precise, and the work is completed on time and within the estimate.

Tim is an accomplished artist. His restorations sometimes include the painting of damaged areas of the paintings. His skill of painting and matching the proper paint colors is beyond belief. I have been amazed many times by Timís artistic talents."

"As far as we are concerned, the two paintings you did for us, each about 150 years old, have been absolutely perfectly restored. Your technical knowledge, even about the frames, was very assuring to us.

The portrait of the man hangs in our daughters $10 million dollar house in Vermont, and the fraternity symbols are hanging in the lodge room very proudly. I hope, soon, to put a small light over it.

We are 100% pleased, and would be happy to talk to any prospective customers."

"We have had several works of art cleaned, repaired, and restored by Tim Hall. He has done an excellent and precise job on each piece. One 18th century oil had a tear in the canvas and missing chips of paint from the canvas, which Tim repaired and in-painted erasing all evidence of damage. Tim has also restored and gilded two ornate frames, making sure that the gold used was historically correct in color.

Tim cleaned, de-acidified, and re-matted a W. Baum watercolor, which revived the color and insured that no more deterioration would occur because of a poor quality mat and glass.

Timís knowledge, advice, and skill as a fine art restorer are second to none. All through each restoration, Tim has kept us advised as to his progress on each piece, assuring that delivery was always as promised, and at the quoted price."
